CRITERIA FOR GRANTING ADF SCHOLORSHIP TO GIRL STUDENTS

ARCHANA DREAM FOUNDATION (ADF) is a charitable Society formed with the prime objective as CHARITY & WELFARE for needy persons without any distinction of caste, creed, religion, sex or age. The Society is registered under the Societies Registration Act - XXI, 1860, Govt. of Jharkhand vide Regd. No. 164 dt. 04-12-2020. Girl Education is the prime focus of Archana Dream Foundation. Under the Girls education program, our mission is to improve literacy percentage among the girls by imparting free education to needy, deserving and underprivileged girl students in both urban and rural areas. Under this program, ADF shall grant scholarship/sponsorship to meritorious, deserving and needy girl students for continuing/pursuing their studies in School/College. However, scholarship shall also be considered for Boy Students in exceptional cases to be decided by ADF Management. Amount and duration of Scholarship to students shall be decided by the ADF Management subject to fulfilling of following criteria:

• Income of Parents/Guardian should not exceed Rs. 3 (Three) Lakhs per year.
• Minimum percentage required for availing ADF Scholarship shall be 50% in the previous Class/Board annual exam. e.g., for students in College Ist year, percentage of 10+2 final result shall be considered.
• Student and their parents shall be the resident of Jharkhand.
• Student has overcome a significant family/emotional hardship mainly loss of one or both parents in pandemic/natural death/prolonged sickness/loss of parent’s job etc.
• Student shall be studying in class VIII & above in School/Intermediate & above in college.
• The Scholarship shall be initially granted for a period of one year and would be extended on the basis of performance of the student. Amount towards Scholarship per student shall be limited to 20,000/- per year or actual fee whichever is less.
• The Student and/their parents shall possess a Aadhaar Card issued by Govt. of India.

Above are broad guidelines and criteria for granting scholarship to the needy and meritorious students for continuing/pursuing their studies in School/College. However, in exceptional cases, the criteria may be relaxed as decided by ADF Management.

Total Budget for ADF Scholarship shall be Rs. 2.5 Lakhs per year which would be reviewed every year. Out of the total budgeted amount, Rs.50,000/- shall be provided for exceptional cases.
